I'm In Love!

A few things I forgot to include yesterday:

1. We have a carseat in our house! It arrived yesterday. We ordered it Friday night. Holy fast shipping Batman!! And FREE shipping at that. I <3 Amazon. Oh yeah...we got $250 worth of Amazon.com gift cards simply for redeeming 11 months worth of VISA rewards points. We finally received the cards and were able to use them last week!! We bought the carseat, diaper bag (I was picky), and changing pad for the dresser we'll be ordering this weekend, all for $248 but $0 out of pocket...YAY!! Don't scold me for buying stuff...there's is PLENTY of stuff on our BRU registry and none of this was on it! Plus there are just a few things that, as the parents, we feel responsible to buy (furniture, carseat, and the like)...and WANT to buy. Anywho. There are only a couple more items like that, but they can wait for now. One being the breastpump...I certainly don't expect anyone else to buy that for me, lol!! Plus I haven't quite figured out which one I want yet...this bullet point is getting too long...

2. Also bought Dr. Sears Vaccine Book so we (probably "I", hehe) can start researching vaccines. I'm definitely pro-vaccine...but I tend to think we're shoving way too much into kiddos way to fast and young these days. But I don't have any solid knowledge to back up the random bits of knowledge I do have. This will help. We do plan to vaccinate (don't get me started on people who refuse vaccines altogether...GRRRR!!), but I'd like to follow a delayed/alternate schedule. One example being Hepatitis B...I didn't get that vaccine series until I started working at the hospital...I think I was 18 or 19? There's really no need to start that one at birth (like they do now...literally).

3. Hmm. Did I really only have 2 things to say? I really thought there was more...

Oh well...
