I feel 1000 pounds lighter!

Wow. I just got back from our 2nd test of the semester, and I feel like a HUGE weight has been lifted off of me. I can breathe, and (for the moment) I am FREE!! I passed it with an 84%, and quite honestly I thought I was going to fail this one. I know you've probably heard me say that before and you're tired of me saying that this is going to be the worst test ever, it's SO hard, there's SO much material...and each time you probably think "Yeah, suuuure Abigail, you're going to be fine. Just like every other time." But there is a difference. This was probably the MOST information that has ever been on a test before, condensed into 85 questions. We had postpartum, newborn, NICU, pediatric respiratory and GI, AND adult cardiac ALL ON ONE TEST!!! And I already told you about our crazy peds teacher in the previous post (although I didn't find her questions to be as confusing as that other student said...). But now I know what I need to do to pass this semester. Simply spend every spare second I have studying...lol. I guess that's not entirely true. But I did learn that if I READ every page our peds instructor assigns, I will be fine on her tests. And if I do every question on the study guide that our other instructor gives us for her portion of the tests, I'll do fine. After today, I feel SO much more hopeful about this semester and not as doomed. I don't want to be too fast in letting my guard down, because I still need to study and stay on top of everything all the way through graduation, but now I know it's possible and I can do it. Two tests down, two to go...then the final on April 10th. :-)

And now I am going to go play the Wii that my parents left at our house...
